Christmas 2012 In London

These are the Selfridges Christmas windows. I think the yellow gift card window has some impact but I the other windows are lacking in focal points and a cohesive theme. On the other hand the Anya Hindmarsh windows are quite fun with the movement of the cogs, conveyor belt and sweets. 








I like the Jean Paul Gaultier Christmas window with its 3D glasses - anything that encourages customer interaction is a good thing. 


This window is another example of encouraging customer interaction - you can add a snowflake by tweeting a wish. Also, the movement of the flakes by the fan catches people attention - clever.


Current Work - Food Merchandising

These are some photos of my recent work - I've been working for an ethical foods and goods retailer. I merchandise fresh and ambient food and also do a lot of their sign writing too. These were for the Autumn/Winter season.



Bath Time!

The visual merchandising is messy here but I loved the idea of having the products arranged in a bath - it's fun, would attract children to rifle through and shows the rubber ducks etc in their natural place in the home.




Basics At Marks + Sparks

I was impressed with the display to introduce a basic range to Marks + Spencers - it was clean and simple and filled with bulk amounts of the same product - all the hallmarks of low value product merchandising. I also liked the ripped off shopping list posters interspersed between the shelves.


Carousel In Copenhagen

I went to Copenhagen this summer and this was my favourite scheme - summery fun at the fair. The carousel idea could also translate perfectly to a Christmas scheme.
